This actually made the driver appear again, which I updated through the Device Manager (I believe this gave some stability to the webcam).At this point I'm very disappointed since, it seems that there isn't an HP solution out there for the camera, and I only found this link:But is generic -and not useful-, since I'm totally unable to find a recent driver for the HP HD Webcam Fixed. I then explored other options, like updating the CyberLink YouCam directly through the website, but the installation was locked by Windows 10, it seems due to a lack of a valid signature, even though there are ways to bypass this, I decided not to do it yet.Then, I found a possible solution, which was to uninstall the HP HD Webcam Fixed, run a hardware check, and then wait for the system to install the driver that comes pre-installed. ![]() ![]() I read a lot, and did not find a solution yet.The things I've done so far now are: Update the CyberLink YouCam software (through HP), the camera was not working even when it was ran with the original software that came with my PC (never opened the software until I had this problem), and just today, the camera seemed stable enough to not crush the updated CyberLink YouCam program.I updated the driver HP Webcam driver through the Device Manager, just to tell me that I had the latest driver available (which changed nothing to be honest).
